AT least two people have died after what are believed to be Russian missiles hit a farm in Poland on Tuesday.
The rockets rained down on Przewodów village, which is NATO territory, at around 3.40pm local time.
Following the fatal blow, Polish Armed Forces and NATO allies have been on high alert, with The Pentagon saying it’s “looking further” into the reports.
However, overnight, US officials suggested it is “unlikely” that the missiles were sent directly from Russia.
According to a tweet from PA Media: “Initial findings suggest the missile that hit Poland was fired by Ukrainian forces at an incoming Russian missile.”
